Last night partygoers witnessed an event like no other as famed DJ Clinton Sparks launched his new monthly “The Greatest Party on Earth” spectacle with grand fare at 1 OAK last night. The nightlife hotspot was transformed into a circus big top, complete with performers on stilts, sexy clowns and larger than life stuffed and balloon animals. Sparks, the event’s ringmaster, DJ and MC made a grand entrance clad in a red and gold tasseled coat and led a booming LED lit drum line into the club to Ace Hood’s smash hit “Bugatti.” The drum line then performed to DJ Khaled’s “All I Do is Win” while Sparks hyped up the excited crowd. After the pre-show, Sparks hopped in the booth to command the ones and twos, playing a monster mix of the hottest classic and new hip-hop dance tracks from the west coast, east coast and the south. He also dropped a few of his own hit songs including “Gold Rush” featuring Maclemore, 2 Chainz and D.A. The at-capacity-crowd danced non-stop all night and were mesmerized by the circus setting and performers, making it a true party one-of-a-kind party experience like no other. After an explosive set, Sparks headed back to Los Angeles. Sparks “Greatest Party on Earth” returns next month on April 8.
