FSU/ASOLO CONSERVATORY FOR ACTOR TRAINING RECEIVES $7,500 GRANT FROM GULF COAST COMMUNITY FOUNDATION

(SARASOTA, September 12, 2018) – The FSU/Asolo Conservatory for Actor Training proudly announces that it is the recipient of a $7,500 grant from Gulf Coast Community Foundation. The grant supports this season’s Shakespeare in the Gardens performance of As You Like It, which runs April 10-27, 2019. The grant will help transform Marie Selby Botanical Gardens into a theatre, complete with state-of-the-art lights, sound, costumes, and more.

“Gulf Coast Community Foundation’s support of Shakespeare in the Gardens is invaluable. It allows the Conservatory to increase the scope of its training program while bringing to our community a much loved theatrical event,” said Greg Leaming, Director of the FSU/Asolo Conservatory.

Tickets for the third annual Shakespeare in the Gardens production may be purchased through the box office either online (www.asolorep.org), starting September 28, or by phone or in person (941.351.8000 or 5555 N Tamiami Trail), starting October 1.
