LAUNCHING BAC’S NEW SEASON: U.S. PREMIERE OF ILLUSIONS

“Love can only be mutual, I agree with you Albert, and forgive me for this cruel sincerity.”

A celebrated theater work from Russia’s foremost contemporary playwright launches Fall 2014 at BAC! In September, BAC presents Ivan Viripaev‘s Illusions, translated and directed by American theater artist Cazimir Liske, a graduate of Moscow Art Theatre School. Through intertwining stories of two married couples, Illusions unravels paradoxes of passion and death, loyalty and betrayal, truth and fiction, in a darkly comedic exploration of the nature of true love.
