Eric Hutchinson will open for global superstar and GRAMMY® Award winner Kelly Clarkson on her 2015 PIECE BY PIECE tour. The 38-date run will kick off on July 11 at Hershey Park Stadium in Hershey, PA. It will include a two-night stand at New York City’s Radio City Music Hall (July 16 and 17) and a concert at Staples Center in Los Angeles (August 19).

While touring North America with Clarkson, who recorded the Hutchinson-penned track “Why Don’t You Try,” Eric will also be playing a series of headline shows, including Daryl’s House Club in Pawling, NY (July 22) and a show at the historic Levitt Shell in Memphis, TN (September 4). A ticket pre-sale begins today.  Tickets go on sale to the general public this Friday, May 1, at 10 AM local time. A limited quantity of VIP packages will be available HERE. Additional headline dates will be announced soon. Prior to kicking off the North American run, Hutchinson will play a trio of June headline dates in the U.K. See below for itinerary or visit www.erichutchinson.com.

Eric conceived his latest video, “Forever,” with Dan Levy (“MTV Live,” “The After Show”). The clip, which recently premiered on FunnyOrDie.com, features Levy and June Diane Raphael (Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Zodiac) as record company executives eager to school Eric in how to create a viral video, which involves lots of things never before seen in an Eric Hutchinson video – including, but not limited to: puppies, toddlers, bikini girls, hula hoops and clowns. Shot in Los Angeles, “Forever” also includes appearances by Lauren Francesca, Lara Sebastian, The Wing Girls and others. Justin Coloma, who directed the official video for Hutchinson’s “A Little More” and the lyric video for “Watching You Watch Him,” directed the “Forever” video, which can be viewed HERE.

“Forever,” which can be streamed HERE, is from Hutchinson’s latest studio album, Pure Fiction. Produced by Jerrod Bettis (Adele, The Lonely Island) and Aben Eubanks (Kelly Clarkson), it debuted in the Top 10 on iTunes’ overall albums chart and in the Top 5 of iTunes’ Pop albums chart. Idolator.com called Hutchinson’s music “inescapably catchy” and Esquire.com said, “his sunny lyrics reveal a wry double edge.” The Wall Street Journal Speakeasy praised “Tell The World,” the first single from Pure Fiction, as “joyous” and the song was tapped as the theme song for the NBC series “Growing Up Fisher.” “A Little More,” another track from Pure Fiction, was heard in a Netflix worldwide advertising campaign. Hailed as “a vibrant conduit for catchy, radio-ready pop” by AllMusic.com, Eric has been recording his next album in New York City and Los Angeles. It will be released this summer.

Pure Fiction follows 2012’s Moving Up Living Down, which bowed in the Top 30 of the Billboard 200. Hutchinson made his full-length debut in 2007 with the independently released Sounds Like This, which entered Billboard’s Heatseekers chart at No. 1 and yielded three radio hits, including the Gold-certified “Rock & Roll.” A TV favorite, Eric has performed on such shows as TODAY, Conan, Late Show with David Letterman, Jimmy Kimmel Live, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson.
