Announces Program Change:
Academy of St Martin in the Fields

(Boston)  Due to a minor injury, violinist Pamela Frank has been forced to withdraw from her appearances with the Academy of St Martin in the Fields. Ms. Frank does so with great regret, but is promised a full and speedy recovery. The Bach Concerto for two violins in D minor will be replaced with the Schumann (arr. Britten) Elegy for Orchestra. Ticket holders will be notified of the program change. The performance will take place as scheduled on Sunday, March 20, 2016 at 3pm at Symphony Hall, 301 Massachusetts Avenue, Boston.

The revised program is listed below:

Prokofiev                              Symphony No. 1, Opus 25 “Classical”
Tchaikovsky                         Violin Concerto, Opus 35
Schumann (arr. Britten)        Elegy for Orchestra
Beethoven                            Symphony No. 8
