Los Angeles”

September 11th, 2017 – Los Angeles, CA – DAVIS, the Southern California-raised rocker who combines heavy guitar riffs with gritty vocals is premiering his latest song and music video for “Los Angeles” exclusively with idobi Radio. On the track and the city that inspired it, DAVIS shares, “The concept of the video was, like the song, to emphasize the darker side of Los Angeles, behind the beauty and the smoke and mirrors. The video and the song aren’t just a critique of Los Angeles, they’re meant to highlight the city’s enigmatic quality. I love the city because I hate it. I hate the city because I love it.” Check out the video, here: http://ido.bi/4tu.

Idobi shared their support for DAVIS saying, “With a sound reminiscent of The Clash and Beastie Boys, and endless praise for his tracks so far, he’s got a good start of a hell of a career – and he’s not showing any signs of slowing down.”

On the video, directed by Haley Reed, DAVIS shares, “It’s a Grimm fairytale set in a gritty, Scorsese version of LA. We used the lyrics from the song to give it a storybook quality. Each scene you watch is like turning a page in an old fairytale.”

Recently, DAVIS premiered his music video for “Hello” with Substream Magazine. Substream praised the track calling it a “complete rock banger” and continuing on saying, “Sometimes you come across an artist or song that’s so mesmerizing and refreshing to hear that it completely dissipates your distaste for the monotony of the music world. That’s exactly what we’ve found in DAVIS’ ‘Hello.’”

In August 2016, DAVIS released the “Crooked Finger EP.” Recorded with producer Brent Kutzle (OneRepublic) all throughout the U.S. in a DIY studio built in an RV. Recording on the road gave the songs an eclectic American sound. The process was extreme with vocals for the title track “Crooked Finger” cut in a trailer park in Portland and then guitars for that same track cut on Jack White’s amp at the legendary Sound Emporium studios in Nashville. This push and pull informed the production process and created something fresh and helped gain recognition from writers at Buzzbands.LA, Substream Magazine and Wonderland Magazine. Tracks from the EP have been featured on KROQ’s Locals Only show and ESPN’s First Take while also seeing syncs with brands like Miller Lite and Guitar Hero.

At the age of 12, DAVIS picked up a Gibson 335 and idolized great songwriters like John Lennon and Kurt Cobain. DAVIS’ range of musical influences gives him a unique Rock N’ Roll edge. With his high-energy shows, signature vocal sound and ability to shred on guitar, DAVIS is on the path to being an unstoppable force.
