Canadian Premiere of The Red Rocket

Beginning June 20th, state-of-the-art Maple Leaf Cinema at the CN Tower features the Canadian Premiere of The Red Rocket, the short film that propels audiences on an eye-popping 14-minute electric trolley journey through the vibrant heart of Metropolitan Toronto. The film also celebrates five historic generations of iconic Toronto streetcars that have served citizens since the 1890s.

World’s First Glass Floor Turns 20 (June 26)

The Glass Floor was a world first when it opened on June 26, 1994 and 20 years later it continues to thrill visitors of all ages with a “walk on air” experience looking 1,122ft straight down to the ground.  The CN Tower’s Glass Floor is a unique experience that has inspired an international bucket list of see through floor experiences including the Grand Canyon Skywalk, Chicago’s Ledge, Calgary Tower and many more.

 

CN Tower KidZone (July 4)

CN Tower KidZone is 1,500 square feet of kid approved fun.  This new indoor playground features a variety of activities for children 8 and under.

EdgeWalk Weddings

In 2011, the CN Tower introduced the world’s highest hands-free walk on a building and EdgeWalk continues to delight thrillseekers from around the world.  New this year EdgeWalk is now offering weddings for adventure-loving couples.

Lacy Boland and John Kirk from Barrie, Ontario, were the first to be married on the edge of one of the world’s greatest man-made wonders on September 19, 2013.  See a video of their special day here:

New Summer Menus

New menus at all three of the CN Tower’s dining options have been launched.  Located atop Canada’s National Tower, 360 The Restaurant at the CN Tower provides one of the country’s finest dining experiences. Horizons Bistro on the LookOut level offers upscale bistro fare and Le Café back on the ground offers casual fare.

CN Tower Turns 38 (June 26)

National icon, engineering wonder, the CN Tower is a Toronto “must-see” that continues to invest in providing visitors with a world class experience.  The ride aboard the Tower’s high speed, glass-fronted elevators is always amazing.  At the top, visitors also enjoy spectacular views from the LookOut, Glass Floor & SkyTerrace or SkyPod at a dizzying 447 m (1,465 ft).
