“I was always pretending to be somebody else …” – Mia Rose/Marilyn Monroe

Mia Rose’s world is chaos. She dreams of Marilyn and men – fantasy and reality are converging, memories of childhood erupting, as Mia Rose grapples with a complex insight into her womanhood and her multiple selves. In between love, sex, and violence, is redemption really possible? Where can she find a female role model? Where is love?

Clara Francesca won the “Best Artist Award” at the 2016 SaraSolo, MRS. MARX.

Clara holds Bachelor’s Degrees in Law and Biomedical Science from Monash University, and is an alumnus of Anne Bogart’s SITI Company Theater Inaugural Conservatory NYC. Clara spent three years as a trainee lawyer, is an Associate Instructor at New York Speech Coaching with over 10 years experience in the corporate world meeting the arts, specializing in legal teams, medical teams, public speaking on trustees’ boards, debating tournaments, bilingual performances and dialect coaching.

Clara is currently a lead adjudicator Eisteddfods, teaches theater and film to students in the East Village, Upper West Side and Williamsburg, is an Artistic Associate for companies including The Brick Theater Williamsburg, Phoenix Theater Ensemble New York, and a medical/legal research actor for Columbia University, NYU, PACE, and Winthrop Medical University.

Awards and notable performances include reviews for Clara’s operatic, Chekhov and Shakespearian roles in New York, recipient of the American Australian Dame Joan Sutherland Award and lead in award-winning feature film Johnny Ghost.
