Newt Gingrich is an American politician, historian, author and political commentator. A former Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives and the author of New York Times bestsellers To Save America, Real Change, and Winning the Future, he is well-known as the architect of the “Contract with America” that led the Republican Party to victory in 1994.
