The Sound of Extraordinary is coming to the Valley, as Bravo! Vail opens its 2014 Season on June 27. This season promises to be exceptional with the Dallas Symphony Orchestra, The Philadelphia Orchestra, and the New York Philharmonic taking up residence in Vail, performing programs of the great classics, plus jazz and pops. In addition, world renowned soloists and chamber music artists join Bravo! Vail in numerous chamber concerts, free events, and community outreach programs.

Some of our Can’t-Miss events this season:

Dallas Symphony Orchestra

Chamber Music Series
Tuesdays, July 1 – 22, August 2:  Bravo! Vail’s long-running Chamber Music Series offers audiences the opportunity to be in close proximity to the music and the musicians, and experience highly intimate, direct, and personal music making at its best. Highlights include Gershwin and Joplin, 7/1, Bartók and Reich, 7/22, as well as Baroque Concertos and More, 8/2.

Silver Oak and Twomey Series
July 29, 30 and 31: The Silver Oak & Twomey series is designed to create a new atmosphere for listening—relaxed, elegant, intimate, and enveloped by the beauty of the outdoors. It encourages both guest and performers to mingle over great food and Silver Oak and Twomey wines, which creates a sense of openness, receptivity, and good spirit.

Every ticket includes two complimentary glasses of Silver Oak and Twomey wine and appetizers.

Community Engagement and Education Events
All Season Long: Bravo! Vail offers several ways for concert goers and community members to enhance their Bravo! Vail experience.  From Little Listeners @ the Library for young children, Pre-Concert Talks to educate audiences on the evening’s repertoire, or Music on the Move with roving musicians popping up to perform throughout Vail Village, there’s certainly a little something extra for everyone!

Be sure to see this too!

Vail Symposium
June 26: Vail Symposium Presents “Get Your Head in the Game” featuring Dallas Symphony Orchestra principal flautist Demarre McGill and former Denver Bronco Reggie Rivers. McGill and Rivers will detail their thoughts before they take the stage, or before the game, and how they reflect on their performance after the final bow or whistle. In this intimate discussion of pressure, focus, and mentality, McGill and Rivers will discuss the struggle to perform and how they consistently come out on top.
