Big Brothers Big Sisters Womens Committee to Honor Miamis Top Philanthropists, Celebrate 2015 Miracle Makers

MIAMI (April 1, 2015) The work of Miami’s top philanthropists in awakening new possibilities for Miami’s kids will be honored at the annual Miracle Makers Luncheon and Fashion Show,” hosted by the Women’s Committee of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Miami, along with this year’s co-chairs Irene Korge, Bronwyn Miller, and Migna Sanchez-Llorens.  The 15th annual Luncheon will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Thursday, April 30, at the Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne, 455 Grand Bay Drive, Key Biscayne, FL 33149.  CBS4’s weekend news anchor Cynthia Demos will serve as “Mistress of Ceremonies.”

This year’s honorees include: Betty Brandt; Aaron Glickman; Elysze Held; Daisy Olivera; Nathalie Cadet-James; Christina Martin; Marile Lopez; Nick D’Annunzio; Mary Louise Young; Carol Surowiec; Lucy Morillo; and Marielena Villamil. The 2015 Power Couple honored will be: Paul and Swanee DiMare.

The event will include a cocktail reception, a luxury silent auction, and a luncheon, followed by a fashion show presented by internationally renowned designer Rene Ruiz. Master Celebrity Stylist Danny Jelaca will be styling the models’ hair, while international cosmetics brand OPI and their artists will provide make-up. Guests will have the opportunity to “meet a match” and experience the life-changing impact of mentoring. Big Brothers Big Sisters is honored to collaborate with Selecta Magazine as this year’s Media Sponsor.

Individual tickets start at $200 and $2,000 for tables. Seating is limited.
