Award-winning documentarian Andrew Jenks has premiered his ESPN Films’ 30 for 30  digital short “Posterized” on Grantland.com.  The latest installment in the 30 for 30 series (the first project by Jenks & Ratigan Productions), follows the story of NBA player Shawn Bradley.  Details on the release are included below:

30 for 30 Short Documentary Tells Story of Former NBA Center Shawn Bradley

ESPN Films’ 30 for 30 Shorts continues today with “Posterized,” which takes a look at Shawn Bradley, a former NBA player mostly remembered for two things—being one of the tallest players to ever play in the NBA and being on the wrong end of a lot of great dunks that ended up as posters. The digital short can be viewed on Grantland.com.

A 7-foot-6 center taken second overall in the 1993 draft by the Philadelphia 76ers, Bradley surprisingly spent most of his career getting dunked on and is considered by many to be an NBA bust. But in “Posterized,” director Andrew Jenks highlights Bradley’s journey in life outside of basketball as well, showing that success cannot solely be defined by what’s done on a basketball court. With interviews from Coach Jeff Van Gundy and Bradley himself, the film tells the story of how he went from a bust on the basketball court to a superstar off of it

Jenks’ work includes films “Andrew Jenks, Room 335,” “The Zen of Bobby V,” and the TV series “MTV’s World of Jenks.” Jenks was the face for MTV News’ coverage for the 2012 Presidential Election and, more recently, he released his first book “Andrew Jenks; My Adventures as a Young Filmmaker.”

ESPN Films’ 30 for 30 Shorts series is artfully crafted by Blue Moon. Previous films from the series can be viewed on Grantland.com.
