Brad Paisley’s Moonshine in the Trunk Album Available Today as “Perfect Storm” Arrives at Country Radio
Nashville, TN – Arista Nashville superstar Brad Paisley’s new album, Moonshine in the Trunk, releases today, August 25, as country radio receives “Perfect Storm,” the album’s second single and follow-up to the smash, “River Bank.”
At radio now and officially impacting airplay on September 2, “Perfect Storm” is a power ballad being hailed by Billboard.com as “one of those love songs that says what women want to hear and what men wish they could say. … It’s the new single, and rightfully so – it’s got hit written all over it.”

Paisley’s Moonshine in the Trunk album is also attracting early praise, with People magazine touting it as #1 in this week’s “People Picks” list of cool things, trumpeting the album as “the perfect soundtrack to your Labor Day barbecue.”
The Associated Press is also lauding Moonshine in the Trunk, declaring, “Paisley’s arrangements continue to emphasize intricate musicianship and turn-on-a-dime ensemble play, while his lyrics use witty wordplay to explore the many ways people try to escape their problems and improve their lives,” citing Paisley as “the country star most likely to make fans smile — and to make them think.”
