Radio Slate of Panels Announced

If you are in the business of music, the Americana Music Festival & Conference (September 20-25) is a must attend event.  The event brings together fans and music industry professionals alike, offering six days of celebration featuring 50 music business seminars, panels and networking opportunities by day and raw, intimate showcases each night.

We are pleased to present our initial Radio slate of panels (see below), and will have more updates in the coming weeks.

Our business conference panels are focused on the interests and needs of artists, managers, labels, radio stations, publishers, agents, promoters, retailers, legal and business affairs executives, merchandisers and new media professionals – all enthusiastically attended and presented by music industry leaders.

And FYI, you do not have to be a member of the Americana Music Association or in the music industry to purchase a conference registration and attend all the events. Crossing The Bridge From Americana to AAA 

Americana radio stations have broken a lot of acts that have subsequently crossed over to AAA radio and beyond while providing a home for some heritage acts who are no longer in vogue at AAA. This panel looks at the success stories, ways to replicate them.

This popular session allows attendees to participate in a simulated Music Meeting where we’ll listen to a dozen great, mostly yet-to-be-released new songs that the room will score and discuss in detail. Find out why programmers (radio, TV, internet, music bloggers) make the choices they do and how we all hear music in different ways. It’s always fun, informative, good natured and packed, so get there early!
