Martin, bestselling author of the series, A Song of Ice and Fire, upon which the acclaimed HBO series Game of Thrones is based, is coming to 92Y on October 26. His latest book, The World of Ice and Fire, is an illustrated never-before-seen history of the Seven Kingdoms, providing vividly constructed accounts of the epic battles, bitter rivalries, and daring rebellions that lead to the events of A Song of Ice and Fire and HBO’s Game of Thrones.
On October 26, two days before the book goes on sale to the public, the audience at 92Y gets to hear the prolific author discuss the political machinations and sordid relationships that set into motion the “present-day” struggles of the Starks, Lannisters, Baratheons, and Targaryens.
