1Q 2015 was Disney XD’s most watched 1Q ever in Primetime in Total Viewers (408,000) and across target Boys 2-11 (150,000/0.7 rating), Boys 6-11 (121,000/1.0 rating) and Boys 6-14 (154,000/0.8 rating) demographics, bolstered by the hit original animated series “Star Wars Rebels” and “Gravity Falls” and the live action original series “Lab Rats.” In the U.S., the advertiser-supported Disney XD channel launched in February 2008.

Notably, the past three quarters have ranked as Disney XD’s Top 3 quarters in the network’s history in Boys 6-11 (4Q14: 128,000; 3Q14: 123,000; 1Q15: 121,000) and Boys 2-11 (4Q14: 160,000; 3Q14: 155,000; 1Q15: 150,000).

1Q 2015 vs. 1Q 2014, Disney XD posted considerable gains among target demographics, including by double digits in Total Viewers (+16% – 408,000 vs. 353,000), Kids 2-11 (+11% – 217,000 vs. 195,000), Boys 2-11 (+21% – 150,000 vs. 124,000) and Boys 6-11 (+14% – 121,000 vs. 106,000).

  • With series highs, the cliffhanger episodes of “Gravity Falls” (3/9/15) became Disney XD’s #1 series telecast on record in Total Viewers (2.2 million) and Kids 2-11 (1.1 million/2.7 rating), ranking #4 among all telecasts in the network’s history in the demos. It was also the channel’s #1 animated series telecast of all time among Kids 6-11 (872,000/3.7 rating), Kids 6-14 (1.2 million/3.4 rating) and Boys 6-14 (680,000/3.7 rating), placing #3 among all the network’s telecasts to date.

    • The February 16 airing of “Gravity Falls” ranked as Disney XD’s #3 animated series telecast on record in Total Viewers (1.8 million), behind its telecast on 3/9/15 (2.2 million) and the special preview of “Star Wars Rebels” (1.9 million, 10/13/14.)

    • Gravity Falls” accounts for the network’s Top 2 telecasts in Total Viewers and Kids 2-11 for 2015 to date.

  • During 1Q15, “Star Wars Rebels” reached an impressive 33 million Total Viewers across Disney XD and Disney Channel, including 8.1 million Kids 6-11 and 4.4 million Boys 6-11, representing over one-third of all Boys 6-11 in the U.S.

  • An original “Lab Rats” (1/26/15) ranked as Disney XD’s #1 telecast of the quarter in Boys 6-11 (456,000/3.8 rating), its #2 telecast in Kids 6-11 (644,000/2.7 rating) and Boys 2-11 (504,000/2.5 rating) and placed among its Top 5 telecasts in Total Viewers (#5 – 1.3 million) and Kids 2-11 (#4 – 748,000/1.9 rating).
