1 Hopeful Rd. – the follow-up to Vintage Trouble’s breakthrough debut, The Bomb Shelter Sessions – is out today. The new album is the band’s first for Blue Note Records and was produced by label president Don Was. Itis available now at all music retailers, including iTunes, Amazon and Google Play, and can be streamed on Spotify.
The Los Angeles-based band performed the album’s opening track, the down home rhythm and blues stomper “Run Like The River,” on “Late Night with Seth Meyers.”View their performance HERE. Vintage Trouble recently returned to “The View.” The band had previously performed on the show during co-host Whoopi Goldberg’s 2014 birthday celebration.
Vintage Trouble has spent the summer opening for AC/DC throughout Europe and will also support the Australian band on the North American leg of the Rock Or Bust World Tour. The run kicks off on August 22 at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, MA and concludes at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, CA on September 28.
In addition, Vintage Trouble will be playing a series of headline dates, which will include shows at Lincoln Hall in Chicago (September 13), Webster Hall in New York City (October 23) and Brighton Music Hall in Boston (October 24). Tickets for the headline tour are available via the band’s website. See below for itinerary.
Paste Magazine, already a fan of Vintage Trouble’s “exuberant live performances” praised 1 Hopeful Rd., noting, “‘Doin’ What You Were Doin” grooves like Al Green with background doo-wops. [Frontman Ty] Taylor’s falsetto range stars in ‘Shows What You Know’ and the band could convincingly resurrect the blues-infused power ballad with songs like ‘If You Loved Me.'”
Reflecting that 1 Hopeful Rd. is a different destination for each fan, Vintage Trouble has invited listeners to create their own album cover by uploading an image of their personal Hopeful Rd. at http://www.myhopefulrd.com. Follow all the different creations on the hashtag #MyHopefulRd.

Vintage Trouble – comprising Ty Taylor (vocals), Nalle Colt (guitar), Richard Danielson (drums) and Rick Barrio Dill (bass) – play live-wired, straight-shootin, dirty-mouth’d, pelvis-pushing juke music. Or, as Yahoo! Music put it, “imagine James Brown singing lead for Led Zeppelin and you’ll get an idea of Vintage Trouble’s muscular, in the pocket sound.” The New York Times noted, “Like Otis Redding, Vintage Trouble makes music that is a little bit of everything…you can slow dance, groove, rock and let it all go.”
Following the release of its debut album, The Bomb Shelter Sessions, the band was soon selling out headline shows worldwide, opening for The Rolling Stones and touring with The Who, and performing on shows like “Later…with Jools Holland,””Late Show with David Letterman,” “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno,” “Conan” and “Jimmy Kimmel Live”- all before Vintage Trouble had even signed to a major label.
