Intel Returns as Goldsmith Sponsor of World Maker Faire

Intel continues their Maker Faire involvement by returning as a Goldsmith Sponsor of World Maker Faire, demonstrating their commitment and support of the Maker community and the Maker Movement. A founding sponsor of the Maker Education Initiative, Intel is a proud, long-time supporter of STEM education and hands-on learning.

At World Maker Faire, Intel will feature a variety of hands-on learning activities and interactive demonstrations of inventions created with the Intel® Edison and Intel® Galileo development platforms. Thud Rumble — world-famous musical artists, turntablists, and hackers of scratch DJ equipment — debuted to eager crowds at Maker Faire Bay Area 2015 and will build upon that experience for attendees at World Maker Faire. The crew from Two Bit Circus, whose carnival-style games make learning about STEAM topics engaging and fun, will also join Intel in New York. To top off their participation, Intel will be sharing with attendees how they can win the $1 million prize in a new reality competition, America’s Greatest Makers. Intel is collaborating with Turner Networks and United Artists Media Group to showcase Makers inventing wearable technology and smart connected consumer devices powered by Intel® CurieT.
