TRANS ACTION was a smashing success for the Dance Construction Company. The performance was intense, the audience stunned, and the event as a whole was exhilarating. With suits ripped and blackened from the dirty, unfinished space, the performers indeed got down and dirty as they posed the question “Does art live here?”
In conjunction with BLIND WHINO, the Maida Withers Dance Construction Company continues its 40th Anniversary Season with an evening of drinks, dancing, and immersive performance art. Twenty-one company collaborators spanning much of its rich 40 year history will be returning for this spectacular event. Dancers intermingle with party goers, pausing throughout the evening to present a selection of repertory works.
