Receives Four Primetime Emmy Award Nominations
   
Nashville, TN – (July 10, 2014) – Last December six-time GRAMMY® winner Carrie Underwood took on the starring role of Maria in The Sound of Music Live! on NBC and it was announced today the unprecedented television production received four Primetime Emmy Award nominations.   
The Sound of Music Live! three-hour blockbuster special attracted 44 million viewers in its airings and also starred Stephen Moyer, Audra McDonald, Christian Borle and Laura Benanti.  The 66th Primetime Emmy Awards telecast will air live coast-to-coast on Monday, August 25th (8PM ET / 5PM PT) on NBC, hosted by Seth Meyers.
