The MuseBox today announced the Canadian Beats exclusive premiere of “There Goes My Ego,” the haunting new single from highly acclaimed indie rockers Elephant 12. The release of “There Goes My Ego” coincides with the official launch of Elephant 12’s Hellophantastic EP. Featuring unapologetic punk rock laced with punchy bass lines, Toronto’s Elephant 12 captivate with exhilarating live performance and sing-along anthems. Elephant 12 have shared the Umbria Festival mainstage with James, Kaiser Chiefs, and Basement Jaxx. Their long awaited self-titled EP was acclaimed by online magazines such as Fred Perry Subculture, Who’s Jack, and BBC Introducing. Elephant 12’s riveting videos have earned features on Blank TV, AfroPunk, and Funk Gumbo Radio.

Formed in the depths of East London, the power duo Elephant 12 consist of Jerome Cooke (vocals) and Robbie Pinno (guitar). Praised by the likes of legendary Canadian broadcaster Alan Cross and BBC Introducing for their fresh approach to high energy rock n’ roll, Elephant 12 have landed high profile shows in London, NYC, and Toronto. They have showcased at 2013’s SXSW Conference and Canadian Music Week.

Their must-see live shows and catchy tunes have also earned Elephant 12 a cult following throughout Europe and Canada. According to lead singer Cooke, the unique thing about Elephant 12 is that “we don’t belong to a genre – but you can hear several genres within our music.” Those genres include electro, hip-hop, and rock.
