The military community at Fort Hood continues to face unprecedented hardship.

Already this year, thousands of troops have deployed from the base.

Families of 200,000 troops are coping with long separations – anxiously awaiting departures and homecomings.

And the community still bears the scars of two tragic shootings in less than five years.

Through all that, the USO center at Fort Hood has remained the one constant for our troops – but right now the center is stretched to capacity.

Through renovations, we plan to double capacity at the Fort Hood center, build a children’s area and increase the size of the theater.

But we need your immediate support to better serve our troops at Fort Hood.

We need to raise $96,000 by midnight, July 31 to help complete the renovation. The best way to give back to the Fort Hood community – after thousands of combat tours and two tragic shootings on base – is donating to the USO.

Click here to rush a tax-deductible donation of $10 or more before midnight, July 31 to renovate and operate the USO center at Fort Hood for our troops and their families.

Urgent Request: Help Renovate Fort Hood -- Goal: $96,000 by July 31

I can tell you firsthand – the troops and their families at Fort Hood have given so much for our country, and we have to do whatever we can to make their lives better.

From a decade of war and ongoing deployments to two tragedies that struck home, the troops and families at Fort Hood have been through more than most of us can imagine. This center has been a symbol of resilience for them, but we can’t strengthen this source of community and healing unless we grow Fort Hood.

We need you – the USO is not a government agency, we rely on citizens like you, people who understand the sacrifices our troops and their families make.

Click here to give $10 or more so we can give our troops and their families a new and improved facility to help them heal.

Thank you,

Alan Reyes
