TICKET REFUNDS

 

THE HUDSON PROJECT festival organizers MCP Presents and SFX Entertainment have announced the details on the refund policy following Sunday’s (July 13) cancellation of performances.

All primary purchasers will be emailed refund details, as well as the process to follow in order to receive their refund(s). Sunday single-day tickets will receive a full refund; a 50% refund will be given to primary purchasers who bought two-day passes; and a 33.3% refund will be offered to three-day ticket and Onsite Overnight Parking Pass primary purchasersThe email will include a link allowing primary ticket purchasers to submit their refund request by August 1, 2014.  Upon verification, eligible purchasers will receive an email confirmation from Flavorus confirming that the refund is being processed and will be applied to the credit card used for purchase within three weeks of submission.  Please note:  refunds are for face value of the ticket only; there are no refunds on shipping or processing fees or any ancillary tickets or packages (group camping, shuttles, upgrades or parking, etc.).  In addition, THE HUDSON PROJECT is unable to refund tickets purchased through third parties.

The refunds follow Sunday’s cancellation of THE HUDSON PROJECT, based on recommendations from Ulster County emergency services and the Health Department.  THE HUDSON PROJECT was safely evacuated Sunday afternoon at 4:45 PM (ET) and the festival was ultimately cancelled at 8:00 PM (ET).  Both the evacuation and cancellation were based on warnings from the National Weather Service (NWS) with recommendation from Ulster County officials and local authorities due to severe weather in the area and specifically flooding at the festival site.

In the months leading up to the event, festival promoters worked with New York State, Ulster County and Saugerties town officials to develop an emergency plan, including a contingency for weather evacuations.
