The three-day music celebration, now in its 14th year, will take place July 15-17, 2016, at the award-winning Waterfront Park, a sweeping green space on the banks of the Ohio River framed by the skyline of downtown Louisville.

Forecastle Festival recently announced details on the Kentucky Landing, which offers a shady respite for Forecastlers, featuring local food trucks, Buy Local Boulevard’s homegrown gifts, and craft brews from Against the Grain, Braxton Brewing Company, Goodwood, Kentucky Ale and West Sixth. New this year, Quest Outdoors will host a rest and relaxation station and the Crosley Cruiser, a one of a kind, air-conditioned oasis of sound featuring records for purchase, turntable listening stations, mobile phone charging and more, will also set up shop in the Kentucky Landing.
The Kentucky Landing will feature a host of local fare including Black Rock Grille, Hi-Five Doughnuts, Holy Mole Taco Truck, Lexis Lu’s Longshot Lobsta, and Tasty Tuxedo Treats. Buy Local Boulevard, a collaboration with Louisville Independent Business Alliance, will feature Bermuda Highway, Regalo Art, Revelry Gallery and The Diaper Fairy, which will offer a quiet, private lactation station for nursing mothers to pump, feed and change diapers. The American Poster Institute Poster Show returns to the Kentucky Landing to showcase the work of some of today’s most relevant poster makers.
Details on late-night shows and other Forecastle events will be available soon.
Highlighted in Rolling Stone as “one of the coolest festivals in America” and acclaimed by American Songwriter as “a rock and roll paradise,” the Forecastle Festival has evolved from a small community event into one of the country’s premier festival destinations.
