Texas Rangers Baseball Foundation

Arlington, Texas—The Texas Rangers Baseball Foundation will present An Evening with Prince on Sunday, June 14 at Globe Life Park in Arlington.

Texas Rangers slugger and five-time All-Star Prince Fielder will host the event, which will take place from 6:30-8:30 p.m. in the Texas Rangers Hall of Fame located on the south side of the ballpark on Randol Mill Road.

Couples attending the event will pose for photographs and receive an autograph baseball from Fielder as well as a Rangers Goody Bag. There will be an exclusive question and answer session with Fielder as well as other special features. Guests will also be treated to a multi-course dinner.

Net proceeds will benefit the Texas Rangers Baseball Foundation, which is partnering with Fielder on the Going to Bat against Bullying program. Launched in January 2015, this educational program is designed to help students promote an anti-bullying environment.

The program, which is being utilized in grades 4 through 8 in Texas schools and is aligned to TEKS standards,  features anti-bullying tips and ideas from Fielder along with activities designed to prevent and combat bullying. A Going to Bat against Bullying contest was held this spring and asked students to devise concepts to help create an anti-bullying atmosphere in their schools and communities. The Rangers have promoted the program through an outreach program that includes emails to teachers, guidance counselors, and administrators at elementary and middle schools in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex and outreach to the Texas PTA and Texas Association of Student Councils.

Space is limited for An Evening with Prince. For tickets and more information on An Evening with the Rangers, please go to texasrangers.com/evening or call 817-622-7883.
