TELEMUNDO MEDIA ANNOUNCES SECOND SEASON OF AWARD-WINNING SOCIAL MEDIA NOVELA “SECRETEANDO” STARTING APRIL 28TH

The Original Cast Returns for an Interactive 18-Episode Series Along with Cameos by Top Telemundo Talent including, Dra. Ana Maria Polo, Aylin Mujica, Cynthia Olavarria, Jorge Bernal and Litzy

MIAMI—April 28, 2014— Telemundo Media today announced the second season of the original social media novela, “Secreteando”, starting April 28th. The unprecedented online novela was the first drama series directed to Hispanics where viewers were active participants in the storyline through social media platforms such as Google+, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and Instagram. The original cast including Sonya Smith, Eglantina Zingg, Liannet Borrego, Lorenzo Duarte, Juan Pablo Llano, Tali Duclad and Ruben Morales returns for a second season, accompanied by surprise cameos from top Telemundo talent.

Building on the success of the last season, the second season promises a star-studded 18-episode rollercoaster of emotions as the characters’ lives will be once again put in the hands of the fans that will take to social media polls to determine their fate. The new season will revisit the characters as they settle back into their jobs following the first season competition for the Executive Assistant position at MUS record label. The competition was fueled by social media interaction where the audience voted via Twitter and Facebook to have “Marisol” (Sonya Smith) win the coveted position.

Also new to the second season is a widget that will provide a more user-friendly interface when viewing content on a desktop. Additionally, the second installment will have guest talent cameos by Dra. Ana Maria Polo, Aylin Mujica, Cynthia Olavarria, Jorge Bernal and Litzy.

“Secreteando” will be available across social media platforms beginning April 28th. Fans can access exclusive content via the “Secreteando” Facebook channel facebook.com/Secreteando and also via their Twitter and Instagram channels via @Secreteando and using the official hashtag #Secreteando2. The content will be available via the Telemundo “Secreteando” dedicated YouTube channel youtube.com/secreteando and the Telemundo Novelas App available via the App Store.
