Praise for Second Single – “Istanbul

“Tremendous — a typically suave rocker powered by unexpectedly
feral guitar riffs and groovy percussion.” Stereogum

“What it lacks in titular acrobatics, it makes up for in a nice big
batch of ineffable sadness.” Grantland, Songs of the Week

“‘Istanbul’ finds Morrissey’s backing band in fine fettle, with an elastic
bass line breathing life into the bottom end while strings swoop and
soar in typically dramatic fashion up top.” FACT Magazine

“It was a total delight.” Rolling Stone

“A near-flawless evening of music, rendered by an artist often decried as temperamental
and pompous (among some of the milder epithets tossed his way), but who can, when he
feels so inclined, remind you precisely why he continues to hold sway, three decades
after first sweeping onto the scene.” Ft. Worth Star Telegram

“Morrissey had complete command of his voice and delivered a show that would please
anybody that half-wanted to be there, let alone his legions of devoted.”

 Consequence of Sound

“Wow, Moz, you really know how to put on a show… Saturday night’s show
was one of the most memorable evenings of live music in a long, long time.” Denver Post

“a thrilling 90-minute set that illustrated exactly why he means so much to his fans.
The show was filled with timeless tunes, spectacular musicianship and
megawatt star power.” San Jose Mercury News

“Morrissey’s shows, even in this arena, are transcendent for fans…
He’s the master ringleader of the outsiders.” LA Magazine
