STATEMENT: MAYOR GARCETTI ON DESIGNATION OF THREE NEW NATIONAL MONUMENTS

“The California desert is a treasure for Angelenos and visitors from around the world. Few places remain where one can experience nature with the same wonder as the first explorers. The vastness, wildlife and night skies of our desert lands deserve protection for all generations.
