At Tanglewood this summer, Leon Fleisher and Katherine Jacobson captivated their audience with their magical music-making, now captured on Four Hands, a wonderful new SONY recording. SONY is using the occasion to also re-release Fleisher’s Two Hands CD, his legendary 2004 recording that celebrated his regaining the use of both hands.
Acclaimed as conductor, pianist and master class mentor, Fleisher embarks upon a month-long tour of China and Japan conducting orchestras in Shanghai, Tokyo and Osaka and performing in recital with Katherine Jacobson in Bejing, Xian and Shanghai.  His fans there will certainly share the feelings expressed in a review of the Tanglewood concert: “a night that everyone in the audience will always surely remember.”
