SARASOTA: SARTQ, Sarasota’s local popular artist collective has reemerged. After the success of SARTQ’s annual fundraising event last March, a T-Shirt Screen-printing Party, the now redesigned 501c3 network of accomplished Sarasota and Manatee artists is pleased to present their first exhibition of the 2015 season in the heart of downtown Sarasota.

The exhibition, Here and Now, highlights 16 local artists and the common thread that binds them together. The artists will exhibit an arrangement of contemporary art of the highest caliber including a vast array of artistic mediums, concepts, subject matter.  From watercolor and photorealism to abstract math art, there is something for all attendees with any kind of background in the visual arts.

Featured artists include: Andrew Long, Cassia Kite, Caui Lofgren, Daniel Miller, Elena De La Ville, Javier Rodriguez, Jenny Medved, Laine Nixon, Larry Forgard, Morgan Janssen, Natalya Swanson, Nathan Wilson, Noelle McCleaf, Steven Strenk, Tim Jaeger, Zachary Gilliland, and curated by Tampa based art writer and critic Danny Olda
