Sarasota Brass Quintet
Musical Mornings
February 17, 2015 | 10:30am | Crosley Estate
The Sarasota Brass Quintet will be featured in a Musical Morning performance February 17 hosted at the historic Crosley Estate in north Sarasota. Founded in 1986, the Brass Quintet is one of the four outstanding resident ensembles of the Sarasota Orchestra. Their concerts include a mix of standard quintet literature and pops selections that take the listener on a different musical tour at each performance.

The Crosley Estate is truly a gem of Florida architecture. Built in 1929 as the winter residence of entrepreneur Powel Crosley. Before the program begins, Rusty Russell, a founding member of the Crosley Foundation, will guide a brief tour of this fine home.

A Paris Flea Market
A Special Members’ Meeting & Luncheon
February 25, 2015 | 10:00 am | David Cohen Hall
Ooh-la-la… the French are coming! Mark your calendar now and plan to attend this special members’ meeting and complimentary luncheon. We’ll celebrate in the fashion of the French – with our own chanteuse, Natalia Nicol, an Orchestra staff member and professional songstress.

Following the members social time from 10:00-10:30 am, Natalia will take the stage to entertain you with some delightful French songs that will surely transport you to the City of Lights. Once in that frame of mind, the program will focus attention on our upcoming 2nd Annual Paris Flea Market – the Friends prime fundraiser of the season. The Market returns to Sarasota on March 18 and will be open through March 21.

The morning will conclude with a delectable complimentary lunch in the French tradition. Plan now – dust off your beret, invite a friend and come join the merriment.

Please RSVP to 941.358.6673 if you’ll be joining us for lunch.
