Foundation hires new Special Events Assistant

SARASOTA, FL-The Foundation is pleased to announce that Rachel Rich has joined the team in the capacity of Special Events Assistant. Rachel comes to the Foundation with a litany of event experience from THE MET of Sarasota. She is extremely detail oriented and working very well with the events team to roll out Foundation Signature Events of the season. Alex Quarles CEO of Foundation said “We are thrilled to have Rachel on board to lend us her expertise. Director of Development over Philanthropic Events Lisa Intagliata said, “Rachel’s strengths lie in detail driven initiatives such as these. It is a pleasure to have her and her creative energy here at The Foundation. She has been an asset already and has jumped right in with Key to the Cure just around the corner. Rachel will also be assisting in the planning of upcoming Foundation Events such as our Women & Medicine Luncheon in January, the 15th Annual Foundation Golf Tournament in May and the hospital-wide employee campaign called “EPIC” this spring.

Rachel’s has volunteered for Forty Carrots and Selby Botanical Gardens. Rachel is also an active member of Designing Daughters of Sarasota. Additionally she volunteered with Forward Edge in Nicaragua where she helped set up a safe haven for young girls called Villa Esperanza. She has expertise in coordinating events, client outreach, managing budgets, and also requesting and processing donations. “I have always been passionate about healthcare and giving back” says Rachel. I am very happy to have joined such an amazing team!
