Spotlight on our performers for our very first production

Thank you so much for your incredible support as we work tirelessly to bring Reclamation Opera’s first production, La Boheme, which is set to release in the first week of December! We would not be able to achieve what will be something truly unique and special without you!

As we just finished filming and are now into the post-production process, I would like to highlight our incredible artist, the first to delve into performing opera in this new and challenging format.

Glenn Seven Allen (Rodolfo) is garnering critical acclaim on theatre, opera, and concert stages throughout the United States as a consummate singing actor, lauded for his dynamic interpretations of heroes and leading men, alike. Mr. Allen was hailed by Opera News as an “Edwardian matinee idol, giving by far the most detailed dramatic performance.” This season, Mr. Allen stars as Jack Twist in Brokeback Mountain with New York City Opera, performs as a soloist with Charlottesville Symphony in their Bicentennial Celebration of the Arts and The Americans concerts, performs as a soloist in the The New Crew concert with the American Lyric Theatre, sings the tenor solo in Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9 with Glacier Symphony and is featured in a Mediacom commercial. Last season, due to the wild popularity of its last run, he reprised his role as Jerome in the Drama Desk-nominated Di Goldene Kale Off-Broadway at the National Yiddish Theatre-Folksbiene, which he will return to this season as Oppenheimer in Amerike The Golden Land. He also played the role of Pontius Pilate in Casa Mañana’s production of Jesus Christ Superstar, Lt. Cable in South Pacific with Annapolis Opera, Will in Middlemarch in Spring with Ash Lawn Opera, and performed in New York City Opera’s production of Candide and as The Faun in La campana sommersa, for which The New York Times hailed: “Standouts among the large cast include the tenor Glenn Seven Allen as bare-chested, greenish-colored Faun, complete with furry legs and cloven hooves.”

Noted for her “particularly fine” soprano voice by Zachary Woolfe of The New York Times, Donata Cucinotta (Mimi) is an active performer of both opera and musicals. Ms Cucinotta has performed with the Queens Symphony Orchestra at Avery Fisher Hall, Josephine at Knoxville Opera, Aldonza at Asheville Lyric Opera, First Lady in Die Zauberflote at Opera Tampa, as well as leading roles with Opera Colorado, Indianapolis Opera, Amarillo Opera, Salt Marsh Opera, Ohio Light Opera, Shreveport Opera, Opera in the Heights, Opera New Jersey, Opera Fort Collins, GLOW Lyric Theater, Opera Ithaca, Prince Music Theater, and the American Music Theater Festival. Additionally, we are still in the process of fundraising and any contribution would be greatly valued and appreciated. If you or anyone you know would like to make a tax-deductible contribution to Reclamation Opera, please visit www.recopera.org/donate.

Once again, I am so grateful for your support and I am so excited for you to see our very first production!

Sincerest regards,
