Radiohead to headline Open’er Festival 2017

Radiohead have been confirmed as the first headliner of Open’er festival in Poland for 2017.

The Thom Yorke-fronted band will play the Polish festival on the opening night of the festival (Wednesday June 28), five days after they headline the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury.

It’s the first time the critically-acclaimed Brit band will have played at Open’er, Poland’s premier music festival held at Gdynia’s Kosakowo Airport for it’s 16th time in 2017.

Radiohead are the first act unveiled for Open’e 2017 which will take place from Wednesday June 28 until Sunday July 1. Discounted Early Bird tickets are on sale now at  €107 from the festival’s website for four-day passes.
At this year’s Open’er Festival Florence And The Machine, Red Hot Chili Peppers, PJ Harvey, Tame Impala, The Last Shadow Puppets, The 1975, Bastille, Pharrell Williams, Chvrches, Wiz Khalifa and Skepta were amongst the acts who performed to the 80,000 capacity crowd on Poland’s coast.

The news of Radiohead’s appearance follows confirmation that the band are headlining Glastonbury for the first time since 2003 next year.
