More about R.F.C.:

Smoke DZA

Smoke DZA is a Harlem native that grew up listening to and emulating fellow New Yorkers Jay-Z and Notorious BIG. After dropping out of high school to pursue his music career, DZA began battle rapping and was discovered by Jonny Shipes of Cinematic Music Group in 2002. In 2002, he partnered to become one half of the group Smoke & Numbers until going solo in 2008. Since pursuing a solo career, DZA has had steady stream of releases including Substance Abuse, Substance Abuse 1.5, George Kush The Button, Rolling Stoned, Sweet Baby Kushed God, Cuz I Felt Like It and K.O.N.Y. and is a founding member of the Smokers Club. His album, Rolling Stoned was awarded the High Times Doobie Award for Hip Hop album of the year for 2011. In June 2012, Smoke DZA’s album Rugby Thompson, produced entirely by Harry Fraud was released by High Times/Cinematic Music Group. In 2014, Smoke DZA announced his independence and formed his R.F.C. Music Group. His latest album Dream.ZONE.Achieve was released on April 1, 2014 and is Smoke’s most important artistic statement to date.

Al-Doe

Al-Doe, also known as “The Pope of the Coke Talk,” hails from Bronx, New York. He got his start in the rap game after being introduced to Jae Millz through a mutual friend. From there, the two joined forces with Vado to form a rap group called “Swat Team.” Al-Doe ultimately pursued a solo career that landed him credits with artists such as Master P., Remy Ma, Styles P., and Troy Ave. He’s worked with producers such as Sean C & LV, Statik Selektah, and Chase n Cashe. His most recent work was an EP called Keys of Heaven that was released in February 2014. In addition to the upcoming collective R.F.C project, The Pope has another untitled personal project on the horizon that is slated to drop soon.

Bluntsmoker

Bluntsmoker hails from Harlem, NY. He recounts how he got his start by crediting it to “just hanging in the studio with artists and looking like one.” Eventually his friends convinced him to try it, and the rest was history. Bluntsmoker has worked with Smoke DZA, TY$, Aaron Reid, and Cardo. He has performed on the He Has Risen and Under the Influence 2 Tours, performing alongside artists like Smoke DZA, Curren$y and Wiz Khalifa. He has a mixtape called Live the Rich Life coming soon as well as a 6-song EP with producer 183rd.

NYMLo

Known for rocking everything Polo, the name just stuck: Meet NYMLo, a by-product of Harlem, NY hailing from Money Ave & 116th St to be exact. These stomping grounds are where Lo got his start rapping with his neighborhood friends Smoke DZA and Will in a group called S.I.N. He went on to battle rap with T. Rex and Murda Mook, all of whom he notes, grew up within a 3-block radius of him. Other artists NYMLo has worked with include Dame Dash, Chevy Woods, Jim Jones, and Vado. He is in the process on completing a joint project titled Everything Lo with producer 183rd that is slated to be released soon.

183rd

183rd is a renowned producer from the Bronx who has produced for Smoke DZA, A$AP Rocky, Kendrick Lamar, Danny Brown, and Action Bronson, among others.  He is vital in crafting the sound for The Outsiders album as well as working on each member’s forthcoming solo projects.
