CLEVELAND – Cleveland Orchestra Miami announces the complete program for its tenth anniversary season Gala event on Saturday, January 23, 2016. Soprano Renée Fleming will appear as soloist with The Cleveland Orchestra under the direction of Franz Welser-Möst in selections from Cilea’s Adriana Lecouvreur, Puccini’s La Bohème, and Verdi’s Otello, as well as Tosti’s song Aprile. In addition, The Cleveland Orchestra will perform works by Mozart, Ravel, and Verdi. A complete program listing follows this release.
As Cleveland Orchestra Miami celebrates ten seasons as a vital part of the Miami culture, this spectacular first Annual Gala celebration is a tribute to the ongoing partnership between The Cleveland Orchestra and the Miami community in sharing world-class music through concert performances, education presentations, and community events.
The spectacular tenth anniversary season Gala evening begins at 6:00 p.m. with valet parking at the Hotel Intercontinental with transportation provided to the Adrienne Arsht Center for the 7:00 p.m. concert performance by The Cleveland Orchestra and Music Director Franz Welser-Möst featuring soprano Renée Fleming. After the concert, transportation will be provided to return guests to the Hotel Intercontinental for a cocktail reception and elegant dinner in the Ballroom.
Gala tickets are $2,000 (including premium concert and dinner seating), $1,500 (including preferred concert and dinner seating), and $1,000 (including concert and dinner seating). Table sponsorships are available starting at $10,000, offering exclusive benefit packages. Concert-only tickets range from $75-$220. Gala and concert tickets are on sale now.
