PMP/Suncoast presents String Quartet Performances by Graduates of The Perlman Music Program April 4 and 7
SARASOTA, Fla.(March 22, 2019) —The Perlman Music Program/Suncoast presents the final PMP Alumni: Around Town performances of the season, featuring graduates of The Perlman Music Program (“PMP”), on April 4 and 7, 2019.
Returning to Sarasota, following recitals at this past PMP Sarasota Winter Residency, April’s PMP Alumni String Quartet features violinists KJ McDonaldand Rinat Erlichman, violist Hannah Geisinger,and cellist Derek Louie. Performances include:

KJ McDonald, Violin
Kenneth (KJ) McDonald is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in performance at The Juilliard School under the tutelage of Itzhak Perlman and Catherine Cho. In 2013, KJ established the Clemens Quartet which won First Place Prizes in the 2013 California VOCE and 2015 ENKOR competitions. Read more!
Rinat Erlichman, Violin
Rinat Erlichman is a sophomore at The Juilliard School under the tutelage of Itzhak Perlman and Li Lin. She began studying violin at the age of seven at the Merhavim Conservatory in the Negev, Israel, and has performed recitals in Paris, London and Israel, including as a soloist with the Haifa Symphony Orchestra. Hannah Geisinger, Viola
Hannah Geisinger is currently pursuing a bachelor’s and master’s degree in performance at The Juilliard School under the tutelage of Paul Neubauer and Roger Tapping. An avid chamber musician, she is currently the violist in the Azure String Quartet and was selected to be in Juilliard’s Honors Chamber Music Program. Read more!
Derek Louie, Cello
Derek Louie is a second year undergraduate at The Juilliard School, studying with Joel Krosnick. He’s been a prize winner in several competitions including grand prize in the 2017 Yamaha Young Performing Artists. Derek has soloed with orchestras, including the New York Chamber Players and the Bergen Philharmonic. Read more!

PMP Alumni: Around Town offers free or low-cost PMP alumni performances and events to people of all ages at local community venues.
