TED Conference to the Big Screen for a Cinematic One-Night Event

DENVERDecember 14, 2015 – BY Experience, in association with Fathom Events, is proud to present the opening night of TED’s flagship annual conference – broadcast live to select cinemas nationwide for the first time in the organization’s history. “TED2016: Dream ‘Opening Night’ Live in Cinemas” will debut in movie theaters on Monday, February 15, 2016 live in North America at 5 p.m. PT / 6 p.m. MT / 7 p.m. CT / 8 p.m. ET, time shifted to 7 p.m. local time in HI/AK, and the following evening, February 16 (captured live on February 15) for the rest of the world. Cinema audiences will have the previously unimaginable opportunity to experience the complete opening night session of TED’s legendary annual conference along with the live audience watching from the TED theater in Vancouver, Canada.

 

Tickets for “TED2016: Dream ‘Opening Night’ Live in Cinemas” can be purchased online by visiting www.FathomEvents.com or at participating theater box offices. Fans throughout the United States will be able to enjoy the event in more than 615 movie theaters through Fathom’s Digital Broadcast Network. Hosted by TED Curator Chris Anderson, the cinema event will feature world-renowned thinkers, artists and storytellers who will share their “ideas worth spreading” about the greatest dreams we are capable of dreaming. What emerges is a spirit of wonder and optimism that represents the world at its best.  Featured speakers will be announced in early 2016.
