New York, NY (December 8, 2015)—Mike Carden, former President of Eagle Rock Entertainment North America, announces his new worldwide entertainment enterprise, 71^st Street Entertainment Group LLC.

This full line marketing and sales company, distributed by BFD/RED, will focus on all forms of media, including musical projects, films, and documentaries.

“This label was formed to take advantage of the many projects that are being offered to me since leaving my role as President of Eagle Rock Entertainment North America,” states Carden. “It gives me a great deal of pleasure to announce my new venture.”

The company kicked off in 2015 with the October 16 release of Now You Know from hard rock artist Madame Mayhem, who’s first single – “Monster” – has been garnering significant airplay.

Leading 2016 will be the release of Turn It Up!, a documentary focusing on the history of the guitar. The film, featuring a diverse all-star cast of artists, including Les Paul, Slash, B.B. King, Paul Stanley, Steve Lukather, and others, will be released on both double-disc DVD and Blu-ray formats, with a bonus disc in standard definition. Narrated by Kevin Bacon, Turn It Up! will also be available via digital streaming, download, and on various television networks.
