Marnik and JAGGS – two of electronic dance music’s most promising young duos – team up to bring you a mammoth electro house weapon bound for festival circuit domination. “Kamelot” entertains a relentless medieval-inspired melody that culminates to a beefy four-to-the-floor drop. The growling synths are signature JAGGS, while the thematic feel of the track is reminiscent of Marnik’s prior Dim Mak release “Hocus Pocus.”“Kamelot” is a surefire maintage essential, and one that’s already hit rotation from early supporters like Hardwell, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, David Guetta, Steve Aoki, Thomas Gold, Deorro, The Chainsmokers, and Danny Avila among others.
Both of these fast-rising duos have made a significant impact on the electro house genre in recent years. Marnik’s colossal track “Gladiators” as well as their landmark Tony Junior collaboration on Doorn Records “Jump Around” both hit the top 10 on Beatport’s Electro House chart. Their melodic gems “Momentum” and “Orion” with Lush & Simon followed suit, reaching #4 on the Progressive House chart and proving the duo’s ability to deviate across genres. Marnik’s tunes have been released on iconic dance labels Armada and Ultra, and most recently, the duo rocked the Dim Mak Stage at the iconic Tomorrowland festival in Belgium.
Dutch powerhouse JAGGS erupted onto the scene in late 2014. Their distinctive, high-energy sound caught the attention of Hardwell, who signed their breakthrough electro track “BleepDiFreak” to his Revealed Recordings imprint to critical acclaim. They went on to put out three more tunes on the renowned label, also making a splash with releases on Spinnin’ Records, Armada, and Bingo Players’ Hysteria Records. With support from Zedd, Tiësto, Afrojack, Firebeatz, and many more, JAGGS is an imminent staple in the dance music community, and teaming up with Marnik for “Kamelot” only strengthens their already rampant influence.
