MAJOR LEAGUE BASEBALL PLAYERS ALUMNI ASSOCIATION BRINGS LEGENDS FOR YOUTH BASEBALL CLINIC SERIES TO HOUSTON

Free youth baseball clinic to feature Trenidad Hubbard, Glenn Wilson and other MLB Alumni

Colorado Springs, Colo. – Local youth will have an opportunity to play with their big league heroes at the Major League Baseball Players Alumni Association (MLBPAA) Legends for Youth baseball clinic series on Saturday, August 15th, 2015. The free clinic features former Major League Baseball players who will teach baseball skills, drills and life lessons for approximately 200 local youth.

Players attending* include 10-year MLB veteran Trenidad Hubbard and former All-Star Glenn Wilson,as well as Doug Gwosdz, Rodney McCray, Scipio Spinks, Pedro Valdes and Anthony Young.

The clinic will take place at the Houston Urban Youth Academy, runningfrom 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., located at 2801 S. Victory Dr., Houston, TX 77088. Alumni players will train at stations including pitching, catching, base running and life skills. Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. The morning will conclude with an autograph session for children in attendance.
