Last week, Baker & Taylor, the leading distributor of books, videos, and music products, presented the Ides of March on Monday, March 16 in Charleston, SC. The company, which recently distributed guitarist/vocalist Jim Peterik’s book Through The Eye Of The Tiger (BenBella Books), will release the Ides of March upcoming boxed set Last Band Standing – The Definitive 50-Year Anniversary Collection on April 18.

The Last Band Standing set will include four audio discs with material from across the Ides Of March history, kicking off with 1970’s Vehicle (of which the title track was a Billboard smash hit), and traversing through remastered rarities and unreleased material, culminating in a set of brand new tracks from the band. The set also boasts a live DVD of the Ides Of March performing 15 of their most iconic songs at the House Of Blues in their native Chicago on May 31, 2014. Complete with a slew of extras, such as new interviews, archival footage, behind-the-scenes material, and a music video for the new track “Last Band Standing,” this is a rich celebration of the Ides of March legacy.
