Since its highly successful Broadway debut 80 years ago, Anything Goes has been revived multiple times and now receives a world premiere symphonic version with Principal Pops Conductor Jack Everly, the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra (ISO) and an all-star Broadway cast.

Time for Three, ISO Artists-in-Residence

The ISO’s dynamic trio Time for Three presents a concert full of its best hits and mash-ups, including music from Mumford and Sons, U2, Beethoven, Stravinsky and Justin Timberlake. Complimentary tastings provided by Adobo Grill, Coca-Cola, E&J Gallo, Eddie Merlot’s, Harry & Izzy’s, Just Pop In!, PEARings Frozen Yogurt and Beyond, Soupremecy, Starbucks, Sidney Frank Importing Co., White Castle and Wilk & Wilson Elixers.

On the podium and the piano, guest conductor and world renowned pianist Barry Douglas returns to the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra for his eighth appearance since 1989. Douglas will perform Mozart’s 25th concerto, considered one of the composer’s most magnificent and difficult concertos, and will lead the ISO for Beethoven’s joyful Fourth Symphony.

The students in the ISO’s youth development program, the Metropolitan Youth Orchestra, partner with local jazz artists to present a special concert of great jazz standards. The ISO does not appear during this concert.

The Cirque de la Symphonie troupe returns to the Hilbert Circle Theatre with their signature aerial flyers, acrobats, dancers, jugglers and strongmen performing to a setlist of symphonic favorites including John Williams’ “Harry’s Wondrous World” from Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, Bernstein’s Overture to Candide, Tchaikovsky’s Waltz from Sleeping Beauty, Rossini’s “Can Can” from LaBoutique fantasque and R. Strauss’ Theme from 2001: A Space Odyssey.
