Major Fundraiser to Help Venice Cat Coalition |

You may have heard of The Giving Partner Challenge, which occurs this Tuesday and Wednesday throughout Sarasota and the surrounding area.Three hundred non-profits compete to raise money online from their donors, new donors and extra funds from the foundations.
Venice Cat Coalition is among the smallest of the groups to be competing for the money. Will you donate to our cause to help local cats? If so, keep reading. Circulate to your cat loving friends all over the country and the world if you feel they also would help us.
Here is what to do:
The best/busiest time to donate is in the first few minutes, starting at 7 a.m. Eastern on Tuesday, March 5.The donations made then likely will get matched.Once the match money is all gone, people will continue to give for 36 hours and other special prizes will be made to the nonprofits.
So please get your credit card and your coffee cup set up by 6:45 a.m. on Weds morning and be ready to go online and contribute $25 or more to the Venice Cat Coalition then. They will match up to $1,000 from each unique donor using a unique credit card.

Visit VCC's profile at any time by going to www.thegivingpartner.org. We have provided extensive information on our financial state, programs, budgets, results, etc. so you can tell that your money is well spent with us.
We will use the funds raised to pay for spay-neuter for feral and owned cats, medical supplies for rescued cats, and food for ferals and cats in our program. We reach cats in 3 counties:Sarasota, DeSoto and Charlotte.

The Venice Cat Coalition and its affiliate the Charlotte Cat Coalition offers Trap-Neuter-Return programs for feral and free-roaming cats while managing an effective foster and adoption program for kittens and adult cats truly in need of rescue, and works on feral cat advocacy and spay/neuter education programs.
