Anna Maria Oyster Bar Giving SunCoast Blood Bank Donors Lunch This Friday

 

Sarasota, FL – In honor of National Volunteer Blood Donor Month, Anna Maria Oyster Bar (AMOB) is hosting blood drives for SunCoast Blood Bank (SCBB) at all three locations.  Anyone donating blood or platelets will receive a free lunch or early bird special from AMOB.  The drive will be held this Friday, January 30, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. AMOB locations include Halfway Deck and Lounge Landside, 6906 14th St. W.; Cortez, 6696 Cortez Rd. W.; and Ellenton, 1525 51st Ave. E.

 

SCBB is the sole supplier of blood products for 12 local healthcare providers including Manatee Memorial Hospital, Lakewood Ranch Medical Center, Sarasota Memorial Hospital, Doctors Hospital of Sarasota and Bayflite 2 Emergency Helicopter Service. Every two seconds, someone in our country needs blood or platelets, and one donation can save up to three lives.
