The Prine Singing Stars from Prine Elementary and the Bashaw Elementary Chorus will perform a holiday program featuring traditional and new songs celebrating Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Christmas and the New Year.

BRADENTON, FL—The Bradenton Farmers Market presents choruses from two elementary schools, Saturday, December 12, 9:30-10:30 a.m., performing a program of holiday songs centered around the theme “Celebrating Our Diversity as We Go Around All the World.”

At 9:30 a.m., the Prine Singing Stars, comprised of fourth and fifth graders from Prine Elementary who meet after school to express themselves through singing, drama, and instrument playing, will perform “Moo-EE, Meow, Meow,” a hilarious song about a cow and cat. They will also perform “Jingle Bell Rock,” “Rockin’ Around The Christmas Tree,” “Angels We Have Heard On High,” and “Friends Are Like Diamonds.”

At 10 a.m., the Bashaw Elementary Chorus, a group of third, fourth and fifth graders, will perform a program centered around the theme, “Celebrating Our Diversity as We Go Around All the World.” They will sing songs from the United States, France, Hawaii, Germany, Japan, Israel, and Mexico that celebrate Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Christmas and the New Year.

“What better way to get into the spirit of the holidays than with these spirited young people singing songs of celebration,” says Peg Haynes, the market’s manager. “We invite everyone to join in the celebration—and make sure to bring the whole family!”
