Goo Goo Dolls just released their highly anticipated 11th studio album Boxes via Warner Bros. Records, lauded by the likes of People, Huffington Post, and Metro who call the album a “step forward in the band’s extensive repertoire.” Lead single “So Alive” was the #1 most added song at Hot AC upon release, and is now #18 on the chart and climbing every week. The multiplatinum band will perform the hit single on The Today Show, Thursday, June 9.
Goo Goo Dolls – which features singer and guitarist John Rzeznik and bassist Robby Takac – will hit the road for an extensive summer headlining tour of amphitheaters and arenas. Also on the bill as direct support are Collective Soul and Tribe Society. The tour kicks off in Portland, OR, on July 8th and crisscrosses North America through September 16th.
