FLYLEAF—the five-piece, multi-platinum alternative rock band—announced today (Tuesday, September 2) they’ll launch a national fall tour kicking off Friday, October 3 in Lubbock, TX. The 29-date run is supporting the band’s fourth studio album BETWEEN THE STARS, out September 16 via Loud & Proud Records. The trek, with opening acts Ryan White and Lullwater, will hit the Gramercy Theater in New York City on Thursday, October 16 and the House of Blues in Los Angeles on Tuesday, November 4 before wrapping Friday, November 7 in San Diego, CA (see full tour itinerary below). Tickets are set to go on-sale starting Friday, September 5. For more information including on-sale dates and where to purchase tickets, visit: www.flyleafmusic.com/tour.

“I’m really looking forward to getting on the road starting in October,” says KRISTEN MAY.  “We have a batch of new songs we’ve poured our hearts and souls into and I can’t wait to play them live.  The music really takes on a new life when our fans are singing with us and experiencing these songs in the moment.  Also, I can’t wait to listen to Ryan White and Lullwater each night.  It’s going to be a magical tour.”

FLYLEAFKRISTEN MAY (vocals), SAMEER BHATTACHARYA (guitars), JARED HARTMANN (guitars), PAT SEALS (bass), JAMES CULPEPPER (drums)—recorded BETWEEN THE STARS in Los Angeles with producer Don Gilmore (Pearl Jam, Linkin Park, Bullet For My Valentine, Avril Lavigne). “Don’s always looking for the magic,” says SAMEER. “For the first time, we went into the studio and let things happen. “It was about the energy and the spontaneity of a song more than anything.  It was a very refreshing approach.” KRISTEN adds: “It’s the most emotional album I’ve ever been a part of. There are some really heavy things and lyrics that weren’t easy to say.  Everybody tried to be as raw as possible when we were writing and recording. That all came out in the songs.”

The music video for the album’s first single “Set Me On Fire”—directed by Noel Maitland (Speechless, Kings of Summer) and shot in an abandoned warehouse in downtown Los Angeles—recently premiered on Billboard.comalong with a Q&A you can readHERE. You can watch the video for “Set Me On Fire” HERE.

About FLYLEAF
FLYLEAF has consistently dominated the Active, Alternative and Mainstream rock charts throughout their career. They released the eponymous debut album, Flyleaf, in 2005 which went platinum and spawned the singles “I’m So Sick,” “Fully Alive,” and the smash “All Around Me,” which sold over one million digital downloads, was a Top 20 hit at Top 40 radio and won the BMI Pop Award. Their second album Memento Mori was released in late 2009 and debuted at No. 8 on the Billboard charts, featuring the singles “Again” and “Missing.”  Their third album New Horizons was released in late 2012. After months of touring the world with the new line-up addition of KRISTEN MAY on vocals, FLYLEAF released a new EP Who We Are in 2013 which featured the song “Something Better” with P.O.D. frontman Sonny Sandoval on vocals. They’ve shared the stage with Korn, Deftones, Stone Sour, Evanescence and many more. Conscious of constantly giving back, they played special shows for American troops stationed in Afghanistan as well as Okinawa, Japan.
