July 27th, 2016 – Alternative rock band, Emarosa, just released their new video for “Blue.” This marks the fourth visual release from a series surrounding the band’s critically acclaimed new album, 131. For the video Emarosa teamed up once again with director, Megan Thompson, who previously worked with the band on Cloud 9, Helpless and Miracle. Watch it here: smarturl.it/BlueVideo
“Blue” is the latest single from 131, which was released on July 8th via Hopeless Records. In its first week of sales, 131 hit #40 on Billboard’s Top Current Albums chart with over 4.4k records sold. The album easily eclipsed the #61 peak of Emarosa’s 2014 album Versus, and has already garnered praise from outlets like Chorus.fm, Substream Magazine, New Noise Magazine and more.
Emarosa can currently be seen making waves all summer long on the Vans Warped Tour, in support of 131, which can be purchased at their merch tent or on iTunes and MerchNow. When you get to Warped, just look up…you’ll likely catch singer Bradley Walden hanging from the rafters of whatever stage he is playing on.
131 was produced in Nashville by Casey Bates, who is known for his work with artists like Portugal The Man, Chiodos, Pierce The Veil, Memphis May Fire, Gatsbys American Dream and many more. During the recording process, the band made a conscious effort to throw all expectations to the side and record the album they always wanted to make, free of all external pressures. As a result, the record takes a pop-turn, reflecting Walden’s diverse influences, including Michael Jackson and Patrick Stump, while still retaining Emarosa’s signature grittiness. Fans old and new will enjoy the dynamic sounds of 131.
On 131‘s evolved sound, Walden explores the boundaries of rock and infuses these epically charged anthems with an even fuller sense of grandeur than on past releases. “I’m so proud of this. It’s my favorite thing I’ve ever done. This is the record we wanted to make,” he shares.

Emarosa’s current line up includes Bradley Scott Walden, ER White, Jordan Stewart and Matthew Marcellus.
