SARASOTA, Fla. – Elizabeth P. Diaz, a trusts and estates attorney with Williams Parker, has been selected to participate in the Greater Sarasota Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Sarasota County Class of 2019. The Chamber’s Leadership Sarasota County program offers participants an opportunity to foster leadership skills and enhance awareness of the community and its needs through community involvement, leadership training, and education, as well as through a class project, which leaves a lasting impact on the community. Williams Parker attorneys Charles (Charlie) D. Bailey III, Zachary B. Buffington, Erin Hope Christy, Peter T. Currin, Douglas J. Elmore, Gail E. Farb, Rose-Anne B. Frano, Michele B. Grimes, J. Michael Hartenstine, Elizabeth C. Marshall, Patrick W. Ryskamp, and Elizabeth M. Stamoulis are previous graduates of the program.

Ms. Diaz focuses in the areas of taxation, estate planning, and estate and trust administration. She works with individuals and families to achieve their estate planning goals. Her training as a certified public accountant enables her to develop customized gift, estate, and generation-skipping transfer tax plans using current estate planning methodologies. She currently serves on the board of Forty Carrots Family Center and on the Make-A-Wish Southern Florida Christmas in Candy Land Committee. Ms. Diaz earned an LL.M in Taxation from the University of Florida, her J.D. and M.B.A. from Stetson University, and her M.Acc. in Taxation and B.S.Acc. from Florida State University.
